New Look for 2020

We are looking forward to 2020 and a relaunch of our pop-up venture with a new name to reflect our vision for the years ahead. CONTEMPORARY AND COUNTRY will display work by contemporary artists and makers who don’t conform to historic assumptions about creativity being a largely metropolitan activity. Through their chosen subject matter they raise questions about what it takes to shift ideas of the rural idyll away from the romantic and remote, toward a variety of more engaging concerns shared by creative practitioners working in geographically isolated communities today.

Makers, artists and designers have all been used to create a unique space in Brancaster, North Norfolk. Davina Barber used makers/designer from Norfolk by Design and is the brainchild behind the Beach House – a beautiful holiday home that sleeps 10, nestled in the village of Brancaster, North Norfolk. Davina's Beach House is currently featured in Condé Nast Traveler - looking at UK "staycation" destinations as travelers look closer to home.
