This comes hot on the heels of being shown at Houghton Hall during the Summer in our POPUP and draws attention to their shared cultural strengths, exchanging works from one port to another and connecting them visually.

Debby Besford has been documenting the restoration of the Venetian Waterways in Great Yarmouth, for the past few years. This unique local landmark opened to the public after substantial investment in re-landscaping the Waterways at the end of August 2019. Debby has married images taken from postcards collected by her late father during their childhood visits to these attractions. Debby has re-presented these nostalgic images placed physically within the setting of the newly refurbished Waterways.

RUTH HOWES is highly skilled at hand cut paper art. All her works demonstrate a  unique take on the world from the phrases she puts in the mouths of Animals - ideal to teach youngsters the alphabet  – "Ciao Chimpanzees" and "Viva Vicuna!".
