    Amanda studied History of Art at Manchester University before, specialising in Furniture Restoration and Design at The London College of Furniture. She has painted murals for Simon Callow, restored frescos and sculpted fountains for Domaine d’Orves on the Cote d’Azur and created wonderful painterly effects for film director Ridley Scott in London.

    Having moved back home to Norfolk, Amanda is currently exploring the technique of verre églomisé through gilding, etching and painting on the reverse side of glass.

    Her verre églomisé pieces are available for interior and architectural applications. Some are available as pictures

    She enjoys the humour in producing insects that are realistic and presenting them as traditional entomological collections.  Her work is a celebration of insects some of which are ironically described as ‘pests’

    Description - Less a shade, more a show of light

    SHADE: the intricately cut shade creates a halo of light and shadow. Coral is a modern take on the wall light. Each fitting comes with a silver or gold topped light bulb. E14, S.E.S (small Edison screw) this helps throw the luminance back on the wall, preventing glare. You can paint the shade the same colour as your wall colour if the following three colours don't suit. Shade Colours Charcoal black / Whitewashed white / Fluorescent orange.

    FITTING: Designed for simplicity and versatility as requires no chasing in.

    SHADE: Birch ply. FITTING: Black powder coated mounting plate with polished brass cord outlet. Black bakerlite E14 lamp holder with extra wide shade rings.

    After studying an Art Foundation at Falmouth and Printed Textiles at Leeds College of Art Bella began the brand in 2015. First selling prints freelance to fashion houses but soon realised it was bringing a brand of her own to life that she wanted to do long term.

    Bella supplies scarves to Tate Modern, Young British Designers, Truffle Clothing in Suffolk and the Fairhurst Gallery in Norwich where Bella is now based.
