This is a glass and printmaking studio, gallery and course provider run by the glassmaker Max Lamb (RCA) and artist Dr Fiona Wilkes and located in North Norfolk and Norwich. SALT glass explores the relation between glass and print languages creating sculptures, contemporary design and commissions using traditional processes from kiln cast, free blown and printmaking.
Nicola is based in Norwich and her background is, for the most part, 3D practices, working in a broad range of materials. She uses lots of textile processes, casting, mould making, modelling, glass, metals, foams and lots of digital processes too. Nicola makes limited editions pieces and does take on commissions. Please contact us to find out more.
With an appreciation of the natural world and love of drawing Claire has been inspired to study insects and reproduce these as tiny embroideries on felt. She enjoys the humour in producing insects that are realistic and presenting them as traditional entomological collections. Her work is a celebration of insects some of which are ironically described as ‘pests’.

Suzi's work contemplates attachment and habitat, using a variety of materials including wood and woven fibre, with her latest projects using the seaweed-like Flustra Foliacea. A bryozoan, Flustra Foliacea grows in the temperate waters of the North Atlantic seaboard, binding itself to substrates such as rock and lengthening with strong tides. Through bringing it into an altogether unfamiliar context - trading the sea for an oak frame - her latest works invite new perspectives. Each piece is bespoke and commissions can be made for specific dimensions different to those listed.
