Unframed photographic landscape from a series of images taken in Iceland
All Garlinda’s prints are made using the giclée printing method onto 300 gsm Somerset paper. The photographs are box framed using museum quality non-reflective art glass.
Box frames are a contemporary framing style where by the artwork is kept away from the glass by inserting a 'fillet' (spacer) inside the mould. The frames are made of wood finished with a semi opaque white coating. The outside front facing frames measure approx 20 mm, the side facing frame measures approx 40mm.
The images are always float mounted i.e. the photograph is suspended inside the frame so that the raw edges are visible and there is no sign from any angle of any fixing.
